Hey there!
I’m Rebecca Bradshaw, founder of Rural Child Health - and I help mothers to thrive, not just survive through motherhood and all its unique challenges.
For nearly two decades, I have helped rural and isolated mothers in their parenthood journeys. I have seen and heard every high. Every low. Every question.
I have been a part of the many villages that it takes to raise a child in regional communities.
As a registered nurse, clinical nurse, child health nurse, and nurse navigator, I have recognised a deeply-rooted need for women to feel closely supported throughout their conception to early childhood journey.
Many regional women wish to have access to the same opportunities that their city counterparts have.
Often, rural women lack the support and guidance that they need in their early parenthood journey, or, to get it – they have to travel hundreds of kilometres to access it.
From this window of opportunity bubbled a purpose to provide a sanctuary of clinical support and guidance for my village of rural women. So, in January 2021, Rural Child Health was born.
Rural Child Health is a healthcare initiative that grants regional and isolated families the same access to high-level parenting support, parenting programs and education sessions that metropolitan families receive.
With a holistic and all-encompassing approach to clinical parenthood navigation, Rural Child Health creates customised strategies that work for families, with proactive steps towards creating a happy and safe family environment.
Our vision is for our mothers to enjoy, not just endure motherhood – and with this in mind, we back all of our clients with a continuity of care promise, ensuring that Rural Child Health is there to lean on – always.
I look forward to creating customised parenting and healthcare support for you and your family.
